When Andy came into my life, I was at the darkest and lowest point that any man can be. I had virtually no hope, and for the first time in my life, I was confronted with a situation I had no control over. I was a very proud man. God has a way of humbling you, just to show you that you do need him. I was arrested and charged, and the deal the District Attorney offered was 22 ½ to 45 years. I was 30 years old. Andy, in his calm voice, counseled me about the decision. I turned down the offer.
Andy is meticulous in his preparation, always writing on his legal pad, not missing a single detail. My mother was my loudest advocate, and I am sure in the 16 months before my trial, must have made Andy age a few early years. I am blessed to have been represented by Andrew G. Gay Jr. I was acquitted and when home that very night. He is blessed with the knowledge, and humbleness that is rarely seen in today’s lawyers. Andy treats you with dignity and respect, and lets you know that you are more than a number, not just another file on a desk. I have and will ALWAYS without hesitations refer Andy to anyone that may need legal advice or representation. Andy has become more than my lawyer; I am proud to call him our family friend.
